1/25/07... Picture of the proposed playground site before the old equipment and walking trail were removed.
4/18/07 - 4/26/07... The city's crews removed the existing playground and took up the walking trail.
4/18/07 - 4/26/07... Hoyt Hayes Construction began site preparation and put the foundation forms in place.
5/1/07 - 5/15/07... Brad Hayes with Hoyt Hayes Construction oversaw the pouring and stamping of the curbing along with the foundation pouring.
5/30/07... What a thrilling day! Everyone was excited over the long-awaited arrival of the playground equipment at the holding area of Jackson Parks.
5/30/07... Kati and Russ Walden, Gabriel's brother & sister peeked into crates and boxes to see what was inside.
There were a few nerve-wracking moments as a crate refused to come off the truck. City workers were very creative to lower the equipment to the ground

6/17/07... The crew from Canada, led by Rob, began the installation of the SofSurface Tiles.
6/27/07... SofSurface Tiles were used as the majority of the safety surfacing under the playground.
7/11/07...Under Armando's supervision the installation crew from Vitriturf began pouring and troweling into place the second type of safety surfacing.
7/11/07... After this undercoat is fully dried and cured the installers will use the same process with colorful top coats.
